Fluent in dozens of languages and deeply passionate about Ukrainian folklore, Lesya Ukrainka battled an incurable illness she referred to as her "thirty-year war." She pioneered the fantasy drama genre, with The Forest Song being her most iconic work. Recognized as one of the most prominent women in history, both ancient and modern.
