Visiting a living workshop
We invite children and adults to the Koza Dereza workshop in Ternopil — the place where Ukrainian handmade toys, souvenirs and décor are born every day.
During the master class participants see the production from the inside, get to know the process of creating the pieces and paint a toy or souvenir with their own hands to take home.

We offer activities for different groups
Schools & kindergartens
For classes and children's groups who want not just a tour but a living, creative experience. Children will see how the workshop works, try themselves as young artists and take home a toy painted with their own hands.
Summer camps
For camps whose programme leaves room not only for movement and adventure, but also for quiet creative joy. Children slow down for a moment, imagine, paint toys and take a piece of their summer with them.
Corporate events
For teams who want to spend time together not on work tasks but in an atmosphere of creativity and real connection. It's a team-building activity that needs no long preparation. The team comes together — and leaves with a souvenir they made themselves. Not just another corporate party, but an experience that will decorate the home for a long time.
Tourists
A local Ternopil workshop where souvenirs are born every day. You can watch it happen — and take home what you made with your own hands.
What the master class includes: an organised activity, all the necessary materials, guidance from a craftsperson and a finished souvenir made by hand.
How the master class goes

We welcome the guests. We choose a convenient date, format and location: you come to us or we come to you. Everything is ready: materials, workstations, an artist.

Tour of the production. Participants see how toys are really born: from the blank to the finished souvenir. A living workshop, all the processes and techniques, and real artists.

Master class with an artist. Everyone paints their own toy — with tips and support from our craftsperson.

Tea and a toy to take home. Once the toys are painted, we invite you to a short tea break. It's time to rest, share emotions and take your finished souvenir home.
Duration: 1.5 hours. An unhurried creative format with everything you need: from materials and a craftsperson's guidance to a finished toy at the end.

Textile toy master class
The classic format: painting a soft, three-dimensional toy from our production. Suitable for all age groups from 5 years.
Sculptural toy master class
Three-dimensional work with a more detailed technique. Recommended for groups from 10 years and for corporate events.
Eco-upcycling
A master class with recycled materials — something new from what already existed. Relevant for schools and camps with an ecological focus.
Christmas wreath master class (September — October)
A seasonal format: participants create their own festive Christmas décor from our own materials.

Minimum group: 12 people. Off-site: possible — discussed individually.
From 25 October to 1 January a limited number of dates is available for booking (due to the production of Christmas orders).

Frequently asked questions
What is the minimum group size?
Minimum — 12 participants. The maximum is discussed individually depending on the format.
Can we come to you rather than you to us?
Yes, either way. The main format is at our workshop in Ternopil. An off-site format is possible with at least 12 participants and within the Ternopil region — write to us and we'll agree the details.
What does the child take home?
The toy they made with their own hands at the master class. It is painted, dried and ready to travel home.
From what age is it possible?
From 5 years. For the very youngest (under 5) we recommend a parent to be present alongside them.
How long does the master class last?
The standard format is 1.5 hours including a tour of the production.
Is there a shelter?
Yes, our workshop is equipped with a shelter in case of an air-raid alert.
Can it be booked for a birthday?
Yes, there is a separate “Celebration” package. You can celebrate at our place or we will come to you.
Do you run it in winter?
It depends on the production workload. From 25 October to 1 January the workshop switches to producing Christmas orders. We open bookings in advance — we recommend signing up early.
Is branding available for corporate events?
Yes. Discuss the details with our manager — we'll find a solution.
How is payment handled?
After the details are agreed — a prepayment to secure the date. The balance on the day of the event.
Do we need to bring anything?
Nothing. We provide all the materials, aprons and equipment.
Can we take photos during the activity?
Yes, and we even encourage it. If you post us in your stories — we'll be glad to be tagged 🙂
