A visit to a living workshop

We invite children and adults to the Koza Dereza workshop in Ternopil — the place where Ukrainian handmade toys, souvenirs, and decor are born every day.

The living Koza Dereza workshop in Ternopil

During the workshop, participants will see the production from the inside, get to know the process of making the items, and paint their own toy or souvenir to take home.

  • Who it's for: schools, kindergartens, summer camps, tour groups, birthdays, corporate events.
  • Duration: approximately 1.5 hours.
  • Location: the Koza Dereza workshop, Ternopil.
  • Format: tour + workshop + finished item to take home.

Who it's for

We offer programs for different groups

Schools and kindergartens

For classes and children's groups who want more than just a tour — a living creative experience. The kids will see how the workshop operates, try themselves as young artists, and take home a toy they painted themselves.

Summer camps

For camps whose programs want to leave room not only for movement and adventure, but also for quiet creative joy. The children slow down for a moment, use their imagination, paint toys, and take home a piece of their summer.

Corporate events

For teams who want to spend time together outside of work tasks, in an atmosphere of creativity and genuine conversation. It's team-building that doesn't require lengthy preparation. The team arrives together — and leaves with a souvenir they made themselves. Not just another corporate event, but an experience that will decorate their home for a long time.

Tourists

A local Ternopil workshop where souvenirs are born every day. You can watch how it happens — and take home something you made with your own hands.

What's included in the workshop: an organized event, all necessary materials, guidance from a craftsperson, and a finished souvenir made by hand.

How a workshop unfolds at Koza Dereza

How the workshop unfolds

1
We welcome guests. We choose a convenient date, format, and location: you come to us, or we come to you. Everything is prepared: materials, workstations, an artist.
2
Production tour. Participants see how the toys are really made: from blank to finished souvenir. A living workshop, all the processes and techniques, and real artists.
3
Workshop with an artist. Everyone paints their own toy — with tips and support from our craftsperson.
4
Tea and a toy to take home. Once the toys are painted, we invite everyone for a short tea break. It's a time to rest, share impressions, and take home your finished souvenir.

Duration: 1.5 hours. An unhurried creative format with everything included: from materials and a craftsperson's guidance to a finished toy at the end.

Guests who have already visited our workshop

“I haven't seen children this engaged in a long time. Even the ones who usually lose interest quickly stayed until the end and finished their pieces. After the workshop, parents wrote that at home the kids were still showing off their toys and explaining how they made them :)”

— 4th-grade teacher

“We wanted to do something more interesting for the team than another quest or dinner. We were simply thrilled! We got tons of emotions, group photos, and even a little competition for the best toy.”

— HR manager at a company

“I was really worried about the logistics, but everything went smoothly. Everything was organized, materials were prepared, and the kids got into it right away.”

— summer camp organizer
