Large Dala Horse — a true home talisman, an expressive gift, and the centerpiece of any festive composition.

The creation of this collection became for us a kind of ethnographic exploration of Scandinavian and Ukrainian culture. Our workshop’s mission was to take traditional Scandinavian toys as a foundation, craft them with our own unique technology, and infuse them with a Ukrainian spirit. During the creative process, we discovered that Scandinavian ornaments resonate with Ukrainian patterns, and the vibrant red color symbolizes vitality and love in both cultures.

You can collect a set of horses or even the entire “Dalahast” souvenir collection.

The toy is made using our signature technique from a mixture of paper, sawdust, water, buckwheat husks, and paste.

Each figurine is hand-sculpted, kiln-fired at high temperatures, carefully sanded, and hand-painted by our artisans with acrylic paints inspired by vintage decorations. Thanks to this process, they are durable and resistant to mechanical damage. Small decorative elements for each figurine, just like a hundred years ago, are lovingly sculpted from cotton and adorned with fabric appliqués. They are safe for children and pets, since they do not break. Eco-friendly and long-lasting.
