Description Beaded Necklace (gold with red and green flowers)
Composition: Beads
Silyanka - the name comes from the word "silyannya," which refers to the technique of threading beads onto a thread. Ukrainians believed that this ornament was an amulet and brought happiness, so they wore it every day.
Floral ornament and slanting crosses, which are characteristic of bead decorations, symbolize the protective sun and, at the same time, Christian faith. Silyanka complements outfits incredibly beautifully when combined with multi-layered decorations.
The ornament is inspired by the pattern of a traditional sleeveless child's shirt from Pokuttia, preserved in the collection of the Oles Honchar Museum in Kyiv.
The necklace is made of high-quality materials and has a strong construction, ensuring its durability. The clasp ensures a strong, safe, and easy fastening. Handmade.
Silyanka's width is 3 cm, and its length is 40 cm.
