The technology of making toys

The process of creating sculptural toys goes through several stages:

Stage I - Sculpting. Finely chopped paper, two fractions of moss, crushed buckwheat husks, and adhesive are mixed together. From the resulting dough-like mass, figurines are sculpted. The mixture for our products has a scent reminiscent of bread because all the ingredients are natural. The obtained mass is placed into special molds designed by our designers.

Stage II - Drying. The toys are dried for a long time in the oven, making them strong and lightweight.

Stage III - Polishing. To achieve a smooth surface for each toy, they are polished. After this, the items return to the sculpting workshop for inspection and fixing any minor cracks that may have formed during the drying process.

Stage IV - Decoration. The figurines are primed, painted, and decorated by our artists using modern acrylic paints. For decoration, cotton and fabric appliqué are used following a technique that has been around for over 100 years. As a result, we obtain sturdy, durable toys that have a glass-like appearance. All the processes are done manually, making each product unique and imbued with warmth and a vintage effect.

1. Eco-friendliness. Our toys do not pollute the environment. If such a decoration ends up in a landfill, over time, it will decompose into harmless ingredients from which it is made. The environmental friendliness and safety of the product are confirmed by the international eco-certification ISO 14024.

2. Safety. Christmas toys do not shatter and can be a good choice for households with small children and pets.

3. Durability. The decorations are not affected by temperature changes and moisture, allowing them to be passed down from generation to generation.
